Telescopic tube (specic types only)

Tri-Active nozzle (specic types only)
- The Tri-Active nozzle is a multi-purpose nozzle for car 6).pets and hard oors (Fig.
The side brushes catch more dust and dirt at the sides of the nozzle and allow you to clean better
along furniture and other obstacles.

Hard oor setting:
1 Push the rocker switch on top of the nozzle with your foot to make the brush strip come
out of the housing. At the same time the wheel will be lifted to prevent scratching and to
increase manoeuvrability 8). (Fig.
Carpet setting:
1 Push the rocker switch again to make the brush strip disappear into the nozzle housing. The
wheel will be lowered automatically (Fig. 9).
Convertible nozzle (specic types only)
The convertible nozzle can be used on either carpets or hard oors.
- Push the rocker switch on top of the convertible nozzle with your foot to make the brush strip
for cleaning hard oors come out of the nozzle housing 10). (Fig.
- Push the rocker switch again to make brush strip disappear into the convertible nozzle housing
again. (Fig.11)
Crevice tool, small nozzle and small brush
1 Connect the crevice toolthe small (1), nozzle (2) or the small brush (3) (specic types only)
directly to the handgrip or to the tube (Fig. 1).
Accessory clip (specic types only)
- The accessory clip can simply be snapped onto the tube 13). (Fig.
The crevice tool and the small nozzle can be snapped onto the clip.
Accessory holder (specic types only)
- The accessory holder can simply be snapped onto the handgr 14).ip (Fig.
The accessories can be stored in the accessory holder by pushing them into the holder. To detach
the accessories, pull them out of the holder.
You can store two accessories at a time in the accessory holder:
- Crevice tool and small nozzle 15). (Fig.
Please note the way in which the small nozzle must be placed in the accessory holder.

Using the appliance
1 Pull the cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall socket.
 Switch the appliance on by pressing the on/off button on top of the appliance with your
foot (Fig. 17).
- During vacuum cleaning you can adjust the suction power by means of the knob on top of the
appliance (Fig.18).
- Use maximum suction power for vacuum cleaning very dirty carpets and hard oors.
- Use minimum suction power for vacuum cleaning curtains, table carpets, etc.
