Basic OperationDubbing (Recording from deck 1AI Direct Play Function
to deck 2 or vice versa)
1. When you turn on the system, the source

R-H500s (or MD decks), be sure not to
connect the remote cable to deck 2. If it
is connected, dubbing is not possible.
& When a second deck such as another
R-H500 (or MD deck) is connected to
MD/TAPE 2 terminals, dubbing from deck
1 to deck 2 is possible. However, remote-
controlled operation of deck 2 is not
1possible. Therefore, do not connect the
remote cable from deck 1 to deck 2.
& When dubbing from deck 1 to deck 2 (or
