I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

The OSD Controls
3) Press the button. The BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST window appears. BRIGHTNESS is highlighted.
4) Press the or button to adjust the brightness. An 80% brightness is recommended.
5) When finished with BRIGHTNESS, press the button until CONTRAST is highlighted. Next, press the
or button to adjust the contrast. A 100% contrast is recommended.
6) Press the button to confirm your selection and return to the MAIN CONTROLS window. CLOSE
MAIN CONTROLS is highlighted.
Smart Help
After returning to MAIN CONTROLS?
Smart? to continue to VIDEO NOISE, press the button until VIDEO NOISE is
Helphighlighted. Next, follow steps 3 - 6 under VIDEO NOISE. (Note: VIDEO NOISE is not
available on all monitors. If not on your MAIN CONTROLS window, continue on to
OSD SETTINGS.)
Â ? to exit completely, press the button.
