a non-writing position. The "UP" position of this switch is also used for
point plotting, the contacts of the switch being shunted, through the con-
nections to the point plotter receptacle, by an external accessory which
supplies a rplottr signal.
Time Interval Actuator Switch
When using the time base feature, initiation of a selected time sw reep ac-
tion for the X-axis is accomplished with the toggle switch to the 1: sight of
the pen lift switch. Movement of this switch down starts the tim e inter-
Val; restoring to center position resets the circuit for the next op er ation.
Remote position of the -,zn lift switch parallels internal contacts for si-
multaneous pen and sweep operation.
h. Curve Follower - Record Switch
This control is located on the small panel at the rear of the machine.
When the Autograf is used as a recorder the Record-Follow switch must
be in the Record position. When in the Follow posttion the Y axis ampli-
fier is switched to the Curve Follower (C. F. )'adapter receptacle located
on the input plug panel.
