or j+ (R) button
to adjust the volume.
Sound Mute
Press the kbutton to turn the sound off.
Press it again and the sound will return.
Bass Boost � to enhance the depth of sound
Press the nbutton repeatedly to turn the Bass boost
on and off. Press the Sor R button to adjust the effect.
When an active Super Woofer is connected the nbutton
will control it.
When you connect a Super Woofer, make sure you
choose WooferEXT. from theAV connection option
in the Feature menu.

Press the MENU button on the remote control, and the
Sor R button to select theSound option from the top
Selecting and changing programme positionbar.
Press the Q button to highlight Bass, Trebleor
Enter the desired programme position number using the
Balancefrom the Soundmenu and then the
numbered buttons on the remote control.
Sor R button to change the setting.
For programme positions below10 use 0 and the
required number i.e.01 for programme position 1.
You can also change the programme position by using
the Pf (P) and Pe(Q) buttons.
Use the ^^ button to revert to the previous programme
position.

The programme position will be displayed
on the screen with the Stereo/Mono BBC1
indicator, described on page 16.
