Y Remove the recoil spring from inside the pulley by tapping
the pulley lightly with its inside face downwards against a
work bench or the like. If the spring pops out during Ţtting,
wind it up again, working from the outside in towards
centre.
Y Lubricate the recoil spring with light oil. Fit the pulley and
tension the recoil spring. The Ţlter can be cleaned more thoroughly by washing it in
water and detergent.
An air Ţlter that has been in use for a long time cannot be
cleaned completely. The Ţlter must therefore be replaced with
a new one at regular intervals. A damaged air Ţlter must
always be replaced.
A HUSQVARNA chain saw can be equipped with different
types of air Ţlter according to working conditions, weather,
season, etc. Contact your dealer for advice.
