The CD player will not play a CD loaded with the label facing
downwards.
An OERROR� message will be displayed if this problem occurs.
Note: the cartridge supplied with the system will only accept
12 cm diameter CDs .
Using an adapter for 8 cm discs will damage the reader.
Insert the cartridge (fig. 2) taking care to insert at least one CD,
otherwise a ONO DISC� message will be displayed when the CD
mode is selected.

2.7) Operation of the CD player (Type B)
Y Loading a CD:
Y Press the CD button.
Y Select the CD number you want to load the CD under.
Y Press one of the buttons 1 through 6 (fig. 3). Indicators that are
not lit indicate CD numbers with no loaded CD. Press a CD
number button 1 through 6 with an unlit indicator. Indicatorsfig. 3
for CD numbers that already have loaded CDs are lit orange,
and the indicator for the currently selected CD number is lit
green.
The pressed buttonOs indicator flashes orange, and the CD
door opens. (CD loading standby)
If you do not load a CD within about 20 seconds, CD load
standby is automatically canceled and the CD door closes. CD
loading standby is also immediately canceled if you press the
same CD number button again or press the EJECT button.
Y Push in the CD with the label facing upwards (fig. 4).
While the CD is being loaded, the indicator flashes green. After
loading is completed, the indicator lights green. If you fail to
push the CD in sufficiently, the CD player switches to eject
operation for about 2 seconds, during which time you cannot
push the CD in. Wait about 2 seconds before trying to push the
CD in once more.
