Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Subject :Addition of Electrical Adjustments.
ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTSProcedure:
Note:1. Connect an oscilloscope to test point 1 pin and 3 pin of CN901
1. VIDEO board is basically designed to operate without adjustment.on the DVD board.
Therefore, check each item in order given.2. Turn the power on.
2. Use DVD reference disc unless othermise indicated.
3. Put the disc (LUV-P01) (Part No.: 4-999-032-01) (CD) in to
[DVD reference disc]
playback.
LUV-P01 (CD): PART No. 4-999-032-01
4.Confirm that oscilloscope waveform is clear and check RF
TDV-520CSO (DVD-SL) : PART No. J-2501-236-A
signal level is correct or not.
TDV-540C (DVD-DL): PART No. J-2501-235-A
Note: Do not use exiting test disc for DVD.5. Put the disc (TDV-520CSO) (Part No.: J-2501-236-A) (DVD)
3. Use an oscilloscope with more than 10 M& impedance.in to playback.
4. Clean the object lens by an applicator with neutral deter6.Perfgent when theorm Comfirmation in the same manner as step 4.

1. AUTO SERVO ADJUSTMENT
After parts related to the servo circuit (RF amplifier (IC001),RF signal waveform DSP
VOLT/DIV : 200 mV
(IC1025), motor driver (IC1024), EEPROM (IC1028) so on) are
TIME/DIV : 500 nS
replaced, re-adjusting the servo circuit is necessary. Select OALLÃ�
at O1. DRIVE AUTO ADJUSTMENTÃ� (Refer to service manual
CD : 1.05 ? 0.2 Vp-p
page 15 in TEST MODE) and adjust DVD-SL (single layer), CD
DVD : 1.09 ? 0.2 Vp-p
and DVD-DL (dual layer).
