INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Connection of the outlet hose to theFig. 1
drainage
1. Connect the drain hose to the siphon or hook
it over the edge of a sink �Fig. 1O.
Small washbasins are not suitable for this
purpose.
Theedge of thesinkshouldbenomorethan
1 m �about 3 ft 3inchesO from the floor.
2. Minimum drain height =70 cm or 2ft.
Maximum drain height =100 cm or 3ft.
3. If youneed to addanextension,use aflexible
hose of thesametypeand secure theunion
with screwîon hose clips.
Maximum drain hose length = 2,5m �8 ftO.
IMPORTANT
Make sure there are no kinks in the drain hose.
Secure the hose so that it cannot be dislodged
while the appliance is running.
WATER SUPPLY
î Supply: cold water only.
î Tap connection : 3/4ó.
î Waterflow pressure: 10î100 N/cm2 �1î10 barO.
For Great Britain only:
Water inlet: hot and cold fill.
The warm water inlet temperature must not
o
exceed 60C.
WATER INLET CONNECTION
1. Take the inlet hose out of the drum.
2. Insert the filter, supplied with the appliance
into the straight end of the inlet hose.
3. Screwthisstraight endtothe top, preferably
by hand.
4. Screw the hooked end of the inlet hose to the
appliance.
Make sure that there are no kinks in the hose.
5. Open the water tap completely and check
water tightness at tap and appliance
connections.

xPeriodicallychecktheconditionofthehose
and replace if necessary.
