SYNCHRO START CD RECORDING
1. Press the CD TAPE TUNER button repeatedly until the CD
mode is displayed.
2. Insert a CD and if desired, program track numbers.
3. Press STOPYOPEN 9 to open the cassette holder.
4. Insert a blank cassette into the cassette deck and shut the

5. Press RECORD 0 to start recording./OPPEENNPPAAUUSSEE
" Playing of the CD program starts automatically from the
beginning of the program. It is not necessary to start the
CD player separately.
" To select and record a particular passage within a track

a. press the SEARCH controls or § to find your passagePLAPLAYYPPAAUUSSEESSEEAARRCCHH

b. put the CD player on PAUSE at the selected passage.

c. recording will begin from this exact point in the track when
you press RECORD 0.
6. For brief interruptions, press PAUSE ; deck key. To resume
recording, press PAUSE ; again.
7. To stop recording press STOPYOPEN 9.
RECORDING FROM THE RADIO
1. Press the CD TAPE TUNER button repeatedly until the TUNER
mode is displayed.
2. Tune to the desired radio station using the TUNING control
TUNINGTUNING
(See TUNING TO RADIO STATIONS).
3. Press STOPYOPEN 9 to open the cassette holder.
4. Insert a blank tape into the cassette deck and shut the
cassette holder.
5. Press RECORD 0 to start recording.
" If you hear a whistling sound during recording of an
MW/LW radio station, this can be suppressed by setting
the BEAT switch to another position.
6. For brief interruptions, press PAUSE ;. To resume recording,
press PAUSE ; again.
7. To stop recording, press STOPYOPEN 9.
