modifier settings become invalid.

1In step 6 of the procedure described above under OModifying the edge of
the wipe pattern� (page 4-166), press F3 (WIPE MIX), turning it on.

To adjust matte 1 press F9 (MATTE 1), and to adjust matte 2 press F10
(MATTE 2), turning the respective button on, then adjust the parameters.
