This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

Caution: The face plate is not removable when the
monitor is raised.
eGently press the bottom of the case and open the cover.
Place the face plate into the case and take it with you
when you leave the car.
q Trim Plate
Cautions:
wRemove the Trim Plateqwith a screwdriver.
!This face plate is not water-proof. Do not expose it to water or excessive moisture.
!Do not remove the face plate while driving your car.
!Do not place the face plate on the dashboard or nearby areas where the temperature rises to high levels.

q Slide the left side of the removable face plate in place.
w Press the right end of removable face plate until OclickÃ� is

The security indicator blinks when the removable face plate is
removed from the unit.
Preparation: Set OSECURITY LEDÃ� to ON. (a page 28)
rAfter removing the right and left clamp plates,
pull the unit with both hands till it comes off.

This alarm sounds to warn you not to forget to remove the
panel before leaving your car.
Cautions:
!Do not touch the contacts on the face plate or on the main unit, since this may result in poor electrical contacts.OPANEL!Ã� is displayed and an alarm sounds when turning
!If dirt or other foreign substances get on the contacts, wipe them off with clean and dry cloth.off the power of this unit or turning the ignition switch of
