SETTING THE TIMER
The unitcan be turned on atthe specifiedtime every day by the
built-intimer.You can alsosettimerrecordingfrom theradioorthe
connected equipment.
Preparation
Make sure the clockissetcorrectly,
1@ Press the TIMER button on the remote control
to selecttimerplayback mode or timerrecord-
ing mode.
Each time itispressed, ~ or ~~c@ISdisplayed.

names flashalternatelyinthedisplayfor4seconds. IfTIMER

The hour inthe displayflashes.
IftheIISET buttonispressed afterTIMER inthedisplaygoes
out,anotheroperationmay start.
2Press the <<DOWNor h- UP button and the II
SET button to designate the timer-on time.
nAfterdesignatingthe timer-ontime,?TIMERand one of the
source names flashalternatelyinthe displayfor4seconds.

3Within4 seconds, selectthedurationforthetimer-
on periodwiththe -< DOWNor -F UP button.
The durationforthetimer-onperiodcan be setbetween 10 and
240 minutes in10-minutesteps.

After4seconds,TIMER inthedisplaygoes outand timersetting
