Remove the grill rack and the briquette tray. Watch the igniter tip as
GRILL WILL NOT IGNITE
you turn the igniter knob. You should see a spark jump from the igniter

2.If there is a spark, is gas supplied to the burner and is the line purged of
air? Can you match light the burner? Do the other burners light?
3,Check the burner for blockage as described in Cleaning the Grill Burner
section on page 28.
If there is no spark, call for service.
5Visually check the electrode and wire while turning the igniter knob. If
a spark occurs anywhere but at the igniter tip, the igniter must be
replaced.

3.Check the air shutter for proper adjustment as described in Air Shutter
Adjustment section on page 12.
1 Is the fuel hose bent or kinked?

2. Is there adequate gas supply available? Do any other gas appliances at
the location appear to be below normal?
3.Is the problem isolated to one burner? If so, proceed with burner
cleaning as described in Cleaning the Grill Burner section on pages 28
and 29.
4. Is the air shutter properly adjusted? See page 12 for adjusting
procedure.
5. Has the grill been preheated for 15 minutes with the lid closed?
