Selecting the mode setting of each item
Items for both CAMCORDER and VTR modes
TC IND* <ON/OFF>
YNormally select ON.
YSelect OFF to erase the time code indicator.
COMMANDER* <VTR4/OFF/ID/ID SET>
YNormally select VTR4.
YSelect OFF when not using the Remote Commander.
Advanced operations
YSelect ID when using the Remote Commander with the ID number set.
YSelect ID SET when setting the ID number of the Remote Commander.
BEEP* <ON/OFF>
YSelect ON so that beeps sound when you start/stop recording, etc.
YSelect OFF when you do not want to hear the beep sound.
CLOCK SET*
Reset the date and time.
Items for CAMCORDER mode only
DIGITAL F* <ZOOM/WIDE or OVERLAP>
YSelect ZOOM/WIDE before using the wide mode function, digital zoom or slow
shutter.
YSelect OVERLAP before using the overlap function.
D ZOOM* <OFF/ON>
Before turning on D ZOOM, set DIGITAL F to ZOOM/WIDE.
YSelect OFF to not use the digital zoom.
YSelect ON to activate digital zooming. More than 10x zoom is performed digitally.
16:9WIDE* <OFF/ON>
Before turning on 16:9WIDE, set DIGITAL F to ZOOM/WIDE.
YNormally select OFF.
YSelect ON to record a 16:9 wide picture to watch on a wide-screen TV.
ZEBRA* <OFF/ON>
YNormally select OFF.
YSelect ON to shoot with the zebra pattern displayed in the viewfinder.
DATE/TIME* <OFF/ON>
YNormally select OFF.
YSelect ON to display the date and time indicators.
FRAME REC <OFF/ON>
YNormally select OFF.
YSelect ON for cut recording.
INT REC <RETURN> <SET> <INTERVAL*/REC TIME*>
YSelect RETURN to return to the menu to change other menu items.
YSelect SET to set interval recording ON or OFF.
YSelect INTERVAL to set or change the interval time for interval recording.
YSelect REC TIME to set or change the recording time for interval recording.
