Easy, quick and effortless use of the IRD is possible
using the Remote Control Unit (RCU) and the on-
screen displays.
RCU Keys Description
Switches the IRD between normal mode
(Red)and standby mode.
ALT
(Red) Reserved for future use.
UHF
Displays the UHF tuning menu when
(Green)pressed twice. Press once to remove the
tuning menu.
Displays the local time on the screen for
(Yellow) 5 seconds or removes the local time
display from the screen.
hDisplays the programme information
(Blue)box on the screen or removes the box
from the screen.
Remote Control Unit (RCU)MENUDisplays the main menu on the screen
or removes the main menu from the
screen.
TV
GUIDEDisplays the Electronic Programme
Guide or removes the Guide from the
screen.
Cursor Keys - used to step through pro-
grammes, browse, and to move the high-
light and step through values in menus.
EXITPress to go to the previous menu or to
exit the menu system when in the main
menu.
qSelects a programme while in the Elec-
tronic Programme Guide and selects
highlighted options or values in menus.
P+Cycles up or down through the available
P-services.
V+Adjusts the volume.
V-
KeypadKeys 0 � 9 � select a TV or an audio
service, or are used to key in numbers.
Selects audio services.
Selects TV services.
? Displays the soundtrack language infor-
mation bar for 5 seconds.
Mute.
Switches the display of subtitles �
where applicable � ON and OFF. This
function is not yet implemented.
