Multiplex Recording: when the music and KARAOKE DVD:
background vocals are recorded on the left channel
and the lead singer recorded on the right cannel.
This "split track" recording allows you to control
the volume of the lead singer. You can sing a duet
with the lead singer or use the lead singer as a CD/VCD/CD+G:
guide as you learn the song, gradually fading them
out until you are able to sing song on you own.
Automatic Voice Control (AVC): when the AVC
function is activated, the vocals on multiplex
recording are eliminated as soon as the singer begin
Some Karaoke discs might have "multichannel
singing into the microphone. When the singer stops phonogram" recording: it means that one channel
singing, the vocals on the multiplex recording are
automatically re-activated. This useful function is contains phonogram with vocal ("positive"
phonogram) and another channel contains the same
