Digital Audio Out settings

Digital audio is output from the digital outputs. Note that there
Onis no digital output when playing SACDs and some DVD-Audio

Dolby Digital encoded digital audio is output when playing a

Dolby Digital Out
Dolby Digital > PCMDolby Digital audio is converted to PCM audio before being
output.
DTS encoded digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc.
DTS(Noise will be output if your ampliŢer/receiver is not compati-

DTS > PCMDTS audio is converted to PCM audio before being output.
96kHz digital audio is converted to 48kHz for digital output.
Note that High sampling rate DVD-Audio discs (192kHz or

Down Sample Off96kHz digital audio is output as is at 96kHz.
MPEG encoded digital audio is converted to PCM audio for

Video Output settings

Set if your TV is compatible with progressive scan video (see

Note that progressive scan video is only output from the com-
ponent video jacks.
InterlaceSet if your TV is not compatible with progressive scan video.
VideoOrdinary (composite) video output, compatible with all TVs.
Almost the same quality as RGB, but can give better results if

If your TV is compatible, this setting gives the best picture
