HOW TO OPERATE THE FREEZER
Storage of frozen foods.
When buying frozen foods, make sure that:
? The wrapping or the package is intact or the food
may deteriorate. If the package is swollen or has
damp patches, it may not have been stored under
optimal conditions and thawing may have already
begun.
? Frozen foods should always be purchased last and
thermal bags must be used for transport.
? Once you are home, place the frozen foods
immediately in the freezer.
? Never refreeze partially thawed foods, use them
within 24 hours.
? Avoid or reduce temperature variations to a
minimum. Follow the instructions regarding the
best before date on the pack.
? Always follow the instructions on the package
regarding storage of frozen foods.
Removal of the drawers
? Pull the drawer outwards as far as it will go, left
slightly and extract it.
Note:
Drawers and runners may be removed in order to
obtain increased storage space (Fig. 1).
Ensure that the load does not exceed the limit (if
present) indicated on the side walls of the appliance.
Making ice cubes
? Fill the ice cube tray 2/3 full of water and place it in
the freezer compartment.
? If the tray is stuck to the freezer bottom, do not use
pointed or sharp objects to remove it.
? In order to remove the ice cubes with ease, bend
the tray slightly.
Note:
Reopening the freezer door will be difficult Fig. 1
immediately after it has been shut.
Wait for two or three minutes, so that the slight
vacuum in the freezer is eliminated.
