Self-Timer
Interval
Timer IndicatorYou can set the delay between pressing RECORDING
1MINSTART/STOP and the actual start of recording. If you
1/2Ssecure the camcorder, you (or whomever is operating the
camcorder) can enter the scene before recording starts.

Make sure the camcorder is in the Record-Standby mode
+before performing the following steps.
ACCESS MENU SCREEN
MENU
Turn the PROGRAM AE select dial to any position
1except AUTO LOCK, then press MENU.
NEAR
SET INTERVAL TIME
Press � or + to move the highlight bar down to
2OINTERVAL TIMER�, then press FAR or NEAR to
cycle through the choices. Stop when the desired
FARtime appears. Choose from O15S�, O30S�, O1MIN�,�
O5MIN�, or select to turn the function OOFF�.
CLOSE MENU
Press MENU.

START DELAYED RECORDING
Tally lamp
Press RECORDING START/STOP. The tally lamp
4begins blinking, and the blinking frequency
increases about 5 seconds before recording is to
start. Once recording begins, the lamp stops
blinking but stays lit.
To Release Self-Timer . . .
GAIN UP S.LX
..... while the tally lamp is blinking, press RECORDINGTELE MACRO OFF
INTERVAL TIMER OFF
START/STOP to stop the blinking, then set
REC TIME OFF
OINTERVAL TIMER� to OOFF�.
