LOAD A CASSETTE
First press PUSH/OPEN and open the LCD monitor
1to an angle of over 60 degrees. Press EJECT to open
the cassette holder, then insert
POWERthe cassette with the label facing out. Press PUSH to
ensure the holder is closed and locked.
Start/Stop

Make sure the LCD monitor is fully open. Slide the
2LENS COVER open/close switch to open the lensPUSH/OPEN
cover, then set the power switch to CAMERA.
YThe power indicator lights and the camcorder
enters the Record�Standby mode.
YThe scene youOre aimed at appears in the LCD
monitor, with the word OPAUSE� superimposed
upon it.
START SHOOTING
Tilt the LCD monitor upward/downward for best
3viewability (Z pg. 18) and press the Recording
Start/Stop button.

YThe tally lamp lights while recording is in progress,
and OREC � appears in the LCD monitor.
YIf you want to turn the tally lamp off, see page 31.
