I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

Viewfinder AdjustmentBrightness Adjustment Of The Display
1Set the Power Switch to ?A? or ?M? while pressing 1Set the Power Switch to ?M? MMENU/VOL.

2Make sure the LCD monitor is closed and locked. Pull switch.

3Turn the Diopter Adjustment Control until the ( pg. 12)
indications in the viewfinder are clearly focused.3Press the MMENU/VOL.

4Rotate the MMENU/VOL.

press it. The CAMERA
DISPLAY Menu appears.BRIGHT
5Rotate the MMENU/VOL.

Tripod Mounting
To attach the camcorder to a
tripod, align the direction stud
and screw to the mounting
socket and stud hole on the
camcorder. Then tighten the
screw clockwise.

When attaching the camcorder
to a tripod, extend its legs to
stabilize the camcorder. It is not advised to use small sized
tripods. This may cause damage to the unit by falling over.
