In some situations, different shooting angles may

provide more dramatic results. Hold the camcorder inRecording

most convenient direction. It can rotate 270! (90!
downward, 180! upward).
SELF-RECORDING
You can shoot yourself while viewing your own image
in the LCD monitor. Open the LCD monitor and tilt it
upward 180! so that it faces forward, then point the
lens toward yourself and start recording.
To turn on the camcorder, set the Power Switch to
Operation Mode
any operation mode except OOFF�while pressing
down the Lock Button located on the switch.Choose the appropriate operation mode according to
your preference using the Power Switch.

Lock Button
(Full Auto):

Y Allows you to play back a recording on the tape.
Y Allows you to transfer a still image recorded on the
tape to a computer.
When the Power Switch is set to O�, O�
appears. When set to O� or OPLAY�, there is no
