I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

EJECT SwitchLoading/Unloading A Cassette
Cassette holder
Open the LCD monitor fully.

Slide EJECT until the cassette holder opens. Do not
2use force to open.
Insert or remove a cassette. When inserting, make
3sure the label is facing outward.
Press the Close button to close the cassette holder
4until it locks into place.
Close Button
Close the LCD monitor.

NOTES:
IClosing the LCD monitor while the cassette holder is still
open may cause damage to the LCD monitor.
IThe cassette holder canOt be opened unless a power
Turn to take
up slack.supply is attached.
IMake sure that the tape is not slack when loading the
cassette. If there is any slack, turn the gear on the
cassette in the direction of the arrow to take up theErase Protection tabGear
slack.
IMake sure the Erase Protection tab is in the position that
allows recording. If not, slide the tab. Some cassettes
have removable tabs. If the tab has been removed, cover
the hole with adhesive tape.
IThe cassette holder cannot be opened while the
camcorder is in the record mode.
