14 ENGETTING STARTED
1Set the power switch to OFF while pressing down the
Powerlock button located on the switch.
This camera?s 2-way power supply system lets you 2Slide and remove the battery cover A by hooking on

Charging the Battery Pack
4Close the battery cover firmly until it locks.
5Connect the AC adapter to the camera, then connect
the power cord to the AC adapter.
6Plug the power cord into an AC outlet. The power/
Battery Covercharge lamp on the camera blinks to indicate charging
has started.
7When the power/charge lamp goes out, charging is
finished. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the camera.
Open the cover.To detach the battery pack
Open the battery cover, and remove the battery pack in
