This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Onscreen Menus
Digital VNR
This function can be selected to change the effect of Digital NR.
Press the MENU button
?? To DIGITAL VNRDIGITAL VNR
Y ? To enterAUTO
?? To select the effect you like.MIN
AUTO: adjusts the effect of VNR automatically.MAX
MIN: adjusts the effect of VNR to minimum.OFF
MAX: adjusts the effect of VNR to Maximum.
OFF: turns the effect of VNR off.
Press the MENU button when finished
Note:
? If it is in PC, Digital VNR will not be displayed.
MPEG NR
This function effects the block noise removal and mosquito NR simultaneously.
Press the MENU button
MPEG NR
?? To MPEG NRON
Y ? To enter
OFF
?? To select ON or OFF.
Press the MENU button when finished
Note:
? When you are receiving digital channels, block noise removal will have no effect.
Reset
Reset resets all picture adjustments (tint, color, picture, bright, detail, color temperature, dig.
noise clear, Color Management, Dynamic Gamma and Smart Picture) at once to the default
settings.
