operatingthe unit.Be sure to keep the Operating Instructions
forfuturereference.Allwarnings and cautionsintheOperating
Instructionsand on the unitshould be strictlyfollowed,as well
as the safetysuggestions below.
Installation
1Water and moisture ? Do notuse thisunitnear water,such
as near a bathtub,washbowl, swimming pool,orthe like.
2Heat ? Do not use thisunitnear heat sources, including
heatingvents,stoves,orotherappliancesthatgenerate heat.
Italso should not be placed intemperatures lessthan 5°C
(41?F)or higherthan 35°C (95?F).
3Mounting surface ? Place the uniton a flat,even surface.
4Ventilation? The unitshould be situatedwith adequate
space around itso thatproper heat ventilationisassured.
Allow 10 cm (4in.)clearancefrom the rearand thetopofthe
unit,and 5 cm (2 in.)from each side.
- Do not place the uniton a bed, rug,or similarsurfacethat
may blockthe ventilationopenings.
- Do not installthe unitin a bookcase, cabinet,or airtight
rackwhere ventilationmay be impeded.
5Objects and liquidentry ? Take care thatobjectsor liquids
do not get insidethe unitthrough the ventilationopenings.
6Carts and stands ? When placed or
mounted on a stand or cart,the unit
should be moved withcare.
Quick stops, excessive force, and
uneven surfacesmay cause the unitor@?>&&*
carttooverturnorfall.
7Wallorceilingmounting?Theunitshouldnotbemounted
on a wall or ceiling,unless specified in the Operating
Instructions.

1Powersources?Connectthisunitonlytopowersources

2Polarization? Asasafetyfeature,someunitsareequipped
with polarizedAC power plugs which can only be inserted
one way intoa power outlet.Ifitisdifficultor impossibleto
insertthe AC power plug intoan outlet,turnthe plug over
and tryagain. Ifitisnot stillinsertedeasilyintothe outlet,
pleasecalla qualifiedservicetechniciantoserviceorreplace
the outlet. To avoid defeating the safety feature of the
polarizedplug,do notforceitintoa power outlet.
3ACpowercord
-WhendisconnectingtheACpowercord,pullitoutbythe
AC power plug. Do not pullthe cord itself.
- Never handle the AC power plug with wet hands, as this
could resultinfireor shock.
- Power cords should be firmlysecured to avoid being
severely bent, pinched, or walked upon. Pay particular
attentiontothe cord from the unittothe power socket.
-Avoid overloadingAC power plugs and extension cords
beyond theircapacity,as thiscould resultinfireor shock.
4Extension cord ? To help prevent electricshock, do not
use a polarizedAC power plug with an extension cord,
