1.Sum m ary
DVD O ne Board consists of: Loader part that reads and transm its audio
and video data saved at O ptic Discs (DVD, CD-DA, VCD, CD-R) to M PEG
Decoder part; M PEG Decoder part, w hich, by decoding and encoding data
received from the Loader, produces analog signals; and u-C om that
controls the overall system including the loader and MPEG decoder.
2.How Does it Operate
Insert the pow er cord and then pow er transm itted to each IC, and the SET w ill be the
STANDBY status w hich requires the least pow er for input the front panel key, input
the STAND BY/O N key, extinguished the LED. O nce the Pow er O n key is entered, u-
Com recognizes it and initiates each chipset, perform s sequential algorithm s such as
determ ining w hether the disc is in or not, and if in, w hat type of disc is loaded.
Through this process, it can read disc data before transm itting it to the M PEG
Decoder. The M PEG Decoder w ill then decode and encode such data before
generating the final analog audio and video signal outputs.
