This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

3. Control Buttons and Functions
3.1 User Control Buttons
There are three control buttons, i.e., ?MENU?, ??? and the ??? , and one power button on
the front panel of the display, as well as an LED for power status indication.

And their functions are described as below:
Key Function Description
Push to turn on or turn off the display. The power
POWER
indicator (Green) will light while the display is on.
(1) Select item for user adjustment.
MENU
(2) Bring-up Brightness Menu (Direct-key) function.
(1) Item selection move backward or user-adjustable
? value increasing.
(2) Auto Adjust (Direct-key) function.
(1) Item selection move forward, user-adjustable
? value decreasing (in Main Menu)
(2) Brightness adjustment (Direct key).
