7.4 Video color temperature adjustment
How to prepare
1. Set factory preset mode. PC mode adjustment must be completed.
Connect window pattern signal (25% of display area) .
2. Video input level should be 0.714Vp-p, sync level should be 0.286Vp-p and
Set up level should be 0.0Vp-p.
3. Appear and adjust Screen OSD menu of Picture.
Contrast: Max, Brightness: 0, Color: 0, Tint: 0, Sharpness: 0 Options are
Color select: NORM, Video level: NORMAL, GAMMA: 2.2.
4. Set adjustment No. 246, 247 and 248 scale to 16 .
How to adjust
1.Set factory preset mode and adjust as follows by Remote Control Transmitter.
2.Measurement probe of CRT Color Analyzer CA-100 is set on the center of screen.
(Center of white peak signal.)
3.Adjust color temperature as follows by reducing one or two numbers of No.32, 33, 34.
Video color temperature (COOL)
X=0.285:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, Y=0.294:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, at 9300 K
4.Adjust color temperature as follows by reducing one or two numbers of No.35, 36, 37.
Video color temperature (NORM)
X=0.300:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, Y=0.298:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, at 7600 K
5.Adjust color temperature as follows by reducing one or two numbers of No.38, 39, 40.
Video color temperature (WARM)
X=0.314:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, Y=0.327:ç:ç:ç:ç0.005, at 6500 K
Suggestion
1.Luminance of panel surface is less than 20 lux to arrange adjustment environment.
2.Adjstment is reduce value adjustment only. (Impossible to increase value adjustment.)
3.Color select mode is automatically set to COOL while adjustment No.32, 33 and 34.
4.Color select mode is automatically set to NORM while adjustment No.35, 36 and 37
5.Color select mode is automatically set to WARM while adjustment No.38, 39 and 40
7.5 Reset adjustment
Always set to factory preset mode, to prevent error picture, Reset should be done.
1. At adjustment No.252, Reset adjustment should be done.
2.When above adjustment is finished, turn off the sub power button (or power button on
the Remote Control Transmitter) and Main power Switch.
How to set to factory preset(Service Adjustment)
Turn off the sub power button (or power button on the Remote Control Transmitter),
then pushing RGB/VIDEO and SELECT buttons located on the bottom of the set and
turn on the sub power button as long as more than 5 seconds.
When fall out from factory preset mode, turn off the sub power button (or power button on the
Remote Control Transmitter).
