SPECIFIC SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
REMOVING THE REAR COVERCHECKING THE PW BOARD
1. Disconnect the power plug from wall outlet.To check the PW Board from back side.
2. As shown in the Fig.1, remove the 9 screws marked !!!!.1. Pull out the chassis (refer to REMOVING THE MAIN PWB).
3. As shown in Fig.1, remove the 4 screws marked """".2. Erect the chassis vertically so that you can easily check the back
4. Then remove the REAR COVER toward you.side of the PW Board.
CAUTION
REMOVING THE MAIN PWB" When erecting the chassis, be careful so that there will be no

1. Pick this side of the MAIN PWB and raise one slightly, take off thecontacting with other PW Board.
" Before turning on power, make sure that the wire connector is
PWB stopper marked #### from the cabinet bottom.properly connected.
2. Withdraw the chassis backward." When conducting a check with power supplied, be sure to
(If necessary, remove the wire clamp, connectors etc.)
confirm that the CRT EARTH WIRE (BRAIDED ASSY) is
connected to the CRT SOCKET PW board.
REMOVING THE SPEAKER
" After removing the rear cover.WIRE CLAMPING AND CABLE TYING
1. As shown in Fig. 1, removing the screws marked $$$$, then1. Be sure to clamp the wire.
remove the speaker.2. Never remove the cable tie used for tying the wires together.
2. Follow the same steps when removing the other hand speaker.Should it be inadvertently removed, be sure to tie the wires with a
new cable tie.
NOTE : When removing the screws marked $$$$ of the speaker,
remove the lower side screw first, and then remove the
upper one.
