STATIC CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Input a crosshatch signal.
(FRONT VIEW)
2. Using 4-pole convergence magnets, overlap the red and blue lines in
the centre of the screen (Fig. 4) and turn them to magenta (red/blue).
3. Using 6-pole convergence magnets, overlap the magenta(red/blue)
and green lines in the centre of the screen and turn them to white.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 above, and make best convergence.Fig. 4

DYNAMIC CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Move the deflection yoke up and down to adjust the pin cushion dis-
tortion in the screen top and bottom. (Fig. 5)
2. Move the deflection yoke left to right to overlap the lines in the pe-BOTTOM

riphery, and match the Yv. (Fig. 6)
3. Using the VR on the deflection yoke, match the YH (CROSS). (Fig. 7(FRONT VIEW)

5. Differential coil ADJUSTMENT.
In case where the horizontal lines of red and blue around the centre
of both sides of the picture as shown in Fig. 8, adjust the XV differ-
ence by using the differential coil on the top of the deflection yokeGREENBLUE
(Fig. 9) so as to minimize the XV difference.
