Cautions:
") The affected bus data are interdependent upon input signal source and view
mode. Confirm input source and view mode before adjusting WB.
") NTSC format is base setting therefore complete all Antenna/Video WB
adjustments first.
") DO NOT GO BACK AND CHANGE NTSC WB ADJUSTMENTS. Whenever
NTSC's WB is changed all other WB settings are affected and they must be
readjusted.
") WB adjustments are only done for User Control Color Temperature of "MID
HIGH" and "LOW". The other User Control settings {"HIGH" and "MID-
LOW"} are pre-programmed offsets of these adjustments.
General Procedure
1) Set Video Input or Antenna to NTSC signal source and view mode stretch.
thru DDFC
Repeat Steps A & B.
2) Set Component to a 1080I signal source and view mode stretch. Repeat
not thru DDFC
Steps A & B. (input 4 or 5)
3) Set Component to any valid format signal source and view mode zoom.
thru DDFC
Repeat Steps A & B. (input 4 or 5)
4) Set RGB to any valid format signal source and view mode zoom. Repeat
thru DDFC
Steps A & B.
5) Set RGB to a 1080I signal source and view mode stretch. Repeat Steps A &
B but must substitute bus data V15 & V16 for bus data V07 & V10,not thru DDFC
respectively.
Individual Steps
A) Set User control color temperature to "MID-HIGH". Adjust the colorRecommended values:
temperature, brightness & picture using bus data V02 ~ V06, V07, & V10.9200!K (x=0.285, y=0.285)
B) Set User control color temperature to "LOW". Adjust the color temperatureRecommended values:
using bus data V27 & V28. Do not readjust V02 ~ V06.6500!K (x=0.315, y=0.320)
