7) Disconnect the connector [8].(2) Paper transport unit exit sensor
8) Remove the flexible cable retainer [9].1) Remove the paper pass unit.
9) Free the lock [10] of the connector in the direction of the arrow;2) Remove the bracket, and remove the paper transport unit exit
then, detach the flexible cable [11], and then detach the sidesensor.

(3) Upper Guide Flapper
1) Remove the paper pass unit.
2. Paper Transport Section (MX-RBX1)2) Open the upper transport unit, remove each parts, and remove
the reverse gate.
A. Paper Pass Unit
1) Pull out the paper pass unit, and remove the screw.1

(4) Interface Fan
1) Remove the paper pass unit.
2) Remove the bottom cover.
2) Free the lock, to remove the paper pass unit.
3) Remove the clamps, and disconnect the connector then
(1) Paper transport unit entry sensorremove the interface fan.
1) Remove the paper pass unit.* Install the interface fan so as the side with the label (A)
2) Remove the paper transport unit entry sensor.comes to the direction illustrated.
