C. Express Installation Versus Custom Installation
When you install the Windows Printing System, you are given the
choice of installing all files in the system ("Express" installation) or
only the files that you specify ("Custom" installation).
The express installation will install all files, including the PCL emula-
tion files, the on-line Help files, and the sound files if you have a
sound driver already installed on your system, and will require approx-
imately 5 MB of free hard disk space. If you have limited disk space,
or do not want to install some of the components select. If you carry
out a custom installation, you can go back later and install the compo-
nents which you did not install the first time without having to install
the whole Windows Printing System over again. To do this, start the
installation as normal, select Custom Installation, and then select
the items which you want to install this time and deselect the items
which have already been installed.
