Contains mechanism diagrams, parts lists and schematics for all worldwide versions of DC-X88Z. Also includes remote schematic etc. A few non-essential pages are missing such as specifications. Includes the mechanical and electronic calibration instructions for the tape decks.

2-1-2. V Substrate Voltage/V Reset GateAdjustment Procedures:
Adjustment1. Open the lens iris. Shoot the pattern box. Adjust the
size of pattern box on the viewfinder screen with zoom
Notes:control of the lens.
This adjustment can be performed using the Factory menu.

Pay attention when the Factory menu will be changed.
Pattern boxBe sure not to set the needless menu item.
Equipment : Oscilloscope, Color monitor

Preparations:(VF screen)
. Set S1-1 to S1-4 on the AT-126 board to ON. The
Factory menu can be seen on the viewfinder screen.2. Open the Factory menu.
Adjustment Point:
. Set the menu follows.MENU: Factory
MENU : MaintenancePAGE: Board Config (F4)
PAGE: Black Shading (M3)3. Connect an oscilloscope to each test point (TP) on the
ITEM: Master Gain ? 0VA-163 extension board. Make sure that the video
level of each channel is within the specification 1. If
MENU : Paintnot, perform adjustment of error channel as follows:
PAGE: Detail 1 (P2)(1) Decrease the value of OV regÃ� on page OBoard
ITEM: Detail ? OffConfigÃ� in the direction of minus within the limit
of _30 hex.
MENU : Paint(2) Increase the value of OV subÃ� until the video level
PAGE: Gamma (P5)meets the specification 1.
ITEM: Gamma ? Offn
If it is impossible to meet the specification 1, make
MENU : Paintsure that the specification 2 is met. If not, perform
PAGE: Gamma (P9)adjustment in accordance with the above procedures.
