1-3-7. AUTO ON level adjustment
Purpose :Maintain the AUTO-ON level constant by
adjusting sensitivity of the AUTO-ON sensor.

Note 1 :Set the VF PW-SAVE to ON. (on MENU display)
Note 2 :Do not perform this adjustment under intense light or
intense illumination.
Note 3 :The specification shown is the target value during
adjustment. The specifications during operation check
are shown below :
The distance (L) to enter the AUTO-ON :
7 cm or more, and 13 cm or less.
The distance (L) to enter the AUTO-OFF :

2Place the AUTO-ON adjustment chart 10 cm in front of the EVF lens.

4D51Change the data until the EVF power is turned OFF. (By increasing the data)
5D51Then decrease the data until the EVF power is turned ON. Stop decreasing the data when the
EVF power is turned ON first.
6Press the PAUSE button.
7Move the AUTO-ON adjustment chart near and far, and confirm the specification of the
distance (L) to enter the AUTO-ON is satisfied.
8Exit the adjustment mode (B). (See OVideo Signal For Adjustment� on page 6-27.)
