Fitting an optional microphoneFitting to a Tripod
Use the following procedure to attach an optionalFirst fit the VCT-U14 Tripod Adaptor to the tripod,Pin
ECM-670 Microphone.then mount the camera on the tripod adaptor.
1Loosen the screw of the CAC-Microphone adaptor

open the holder and replace the
microphone adaptor with the

You can slide the shoulder pad toward the front or
back by up to 10 mm from its central position (as when
shipped). Adjust it to get the best balance when using

Note
After removing the camera, if the tripod adaptor pin
has not returned to its original position, hold down the
red button and move the lever in the direction of the
arrow to return the pin to its original position. It is not
possible to mount a camera with the pin left out.
