01. ROM read error
The programs stored in the ROMs (IC25, IC26, IC338, IC339) on the CPU-253 board are not
in the file format used by the FARAD system.
1. Checksum error
2. File format error
Error detection is performed during startup.
When an error is detected, startup of the FARAD system aborts.
. Replace the ROM (IC25, IC26, IC338, IC339).
02. When starting up an application from the program stored in the flash memory on the CPU-253
board (during normal operation), the specified memory area cannot be used. The memory
area is illegally specified or the application program has not been installed in the specified
area.
Error detection is performed during startup.
When an error is detected, startup of the FARAD system aborts.
. Check the setting of the switches S3 and S301 (DIP) on the CPU-253 board.
Re-install the operation software.

03. Flash memory read error
The programs stored in the flash memory are not in the file format used by the FARAD
system.
1. Checksum error of file data
2. File format error. Or, the program is not installed in the flash memory.

When an error is detected, startup of the FARAD system aborts.
. Re-install the operation software.
