2-8. Filter Positioning Adjustment
Notes
. This adjustment is required only when replacing the servo driver board in the filter disk unit.
. The filter disk unit has adjustment controls inside . To adjust them, the filter disk unit should be
removed from the OHB. After adjusting each control, reinstall to check filter positioning by viewing
from the lens mount.
Repeat the actions shown above until all filters are correctly positioned.
Preparation
. MOTOR switch/servo driver board 8 ON
Adjustment Procedures
1. ND 1 button (MSU-700) 8 ON
2. Adjust 1RV1 on the servo driver board so that the ND 1 (clear filter stops at a click position (on the
optical axis of the lens) when viewed from the lens mount.
3. Adjust 1RV6 so that the CC 1 (cross) filter is aligned with the ND 1 filter when viewed from the lens
mount. After that, align positioning for the CC 2 to CC5 filters in the same manner.
4. CC 1 button(MSU-700) 8 ON
5. Adjust 1RV2 so that the ND 2 filter is aligned with the CC 1 filter when viewed from the lens
mount. After that, align positioning for the ND3 to ND5 filters in the same manner.
6. Install the filter disk unit in the OHB. Check that all filters are correctly positioned while pressing the
ND and CC buttons on the MSU-700 one by one.
