This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Very fast service, manual is well scanned and clear, but the Appendix A containing PC Command table and Control codes are missing

LOCATION OF CONTROLS (Representative: 50PH36P)
Using the controls and connections
Front
To alter the volume press - +.
To alter the programme position press .
?
Press MENU and ?, ?, or to control the sound and picture?
options.
Press MENU to finish.
Before connecting any external equipment, turn off all
GENERAL ADJUSTMENTSPower Button
main power switches.
RED - Power On
When connecting mono sound equipment to Input 3, connect
the audio output of the equipment to the L/Mono socket on
the TV.
To select the Inputs, press until the display shows EXT3
or EXT3S as described.
Please always refer to the owner?s manual of the equipment
to be connected for full details.
Please note: Inserting the headphone jack will mute the sound
from all speakers.
