Using the AutoLink Feature
If you are not using Card Services and are using a memory
manager, you must exclude memory for the memory
manager before you conŢgure the PC Card. For more
information about Card Services, see Appendix A.
Delete references to any other network adapter in the
AUTOEXEC.BAT Ţle and in the NET.CFG Ţle prior to executing
AutoLink. You can delete the NET.CFG Ţle, and a new one will
be copied over.
Follow these steps to use the AutoLink feature:
1 Place the EtherDisk diskette in a diskette drive on your PC.
Make that drive the active drive and start the installation
program. For example, type the following:
A: Install [Enter]
The main screen appears, as shown in Figure 3-1.
