Before you begin using your phone, you need to perform several tasks. This
section tells you how to complete these tasks.

To prepare your phone, you need to perform several steps, which are
described in the following subsections:

Install the SIM card
1 Switch off the phone.
2 With the back of the phone facing
you, press the top of the back cover
and the back cover release button,
then slide the back cover off.
3 Lift out the battery.
