Instructionsand on theunitshouldbe strictlyfollowed,as well
as thesafetysuggestionsbelow.
Installation
1Water and moisture? Do notusethisunitnearwater,such
as neara bathtub,washbowl,swimming pool,orthelike.
2Heat ? Do notuse thisunitnear heatsources,including
heatingvents,stoves,orotherappliancesthatgenerateheat.
Italsoshouldnotbe placedintemperatureslessthan5°C
(41?F)orhigherthan35°C (95?F).
3Mounting surface? Placetheuniton a flat,even sutiace.
4Ventilation? The unitshouldbe situatedwithadequate
space around itso thatproperheatventilationisassured.
Allow10 cm (4in.)clearancefromtherearand thetopofthe
unit,and 5 cm (2in.)fromeach side.
-Do notplacetheuniton a bed,rug,orsimilarsurfacethat
may blocktheventilationopenings.
-Do notinstallthe unitina bookcase,cabinet,or airtight
rackwhere ventilationmay be impeded.
5Objectsand liquidentry?Take carethatobjectsorliquids
do notgetinsidetheunitthroughtheventilationopenings.
6Carts and stands ? When-
placedor mounted on a stand
or cart,the unitshould be
moved withcare.
Quick stops,excessiveforce,
and uneven surfaces may
causetheunitorcarttooverturn
orfall.
7Wallorceilingmounting ?The unitshouldnotbe mounted
on a wallor ceiling,unless specifiedinthe Operating
Instructions.
ElectricPower
1 Power sources ? Connectthisunitonlytopower sources
specifiedintheOperatingInstructions,and as marked on
theunit.
2 Polarization? As a safetyfeature,some unitsareequipped
withpolarizedAC power plugswhich can onlybe inserted
one way intoa power outlet.Ifitisdifficultorimpossibleto
inserttheAC power plugintoan outlet,turntheplugover
and tryagain.Ifitisnotstillinsertedeasilyintotheoutlet,
pleasecalla qualifiedservicetechniciantoserviceorreplace
the outlet.To avoiddefeatingthe safetyfeatureof the
polarizedplug,do notforceitintoa power outlet.
3 AC power cord
-When disconnectingtheAC power cord,pullitoutby the
AC power plug.Do notpullthecorditself.
-Never handletheAC power plugwithwet hands,as this
couldresultinfireorshock.
-Powercordsshouldbefirmlysecuredtoavoidbeing
severelybent,pinched,or walked upon. Pay particular
attentiontothecordfromtheunittothepower socket.
-AvoidoverloadingAC power plugsand extensioncords
