6 Cartsand stands? When placedormounted
on a standorcart,itshouldbe moved withcare.
Quick stops,excessiveforce,and uneven
surfaces may cause the unit and cart
combinationtooverturnorfall.
7 Condensation ? Moisturemay formon theCD pickuplens
when:
-The unitismoved froma coldspottoa warm spot
-The heatingsystemhasjustbeen turnedon
-The unitisused inveryhumid room
-The unitiscooledby an aircondition
When thisunithas condensationinsidethe unit,itmay not
functionnormally.Shouldthisoccur,leavetheunitfora few
hours,thentrytooperateagain.
8 Wallorceilingmounting ? The unitshouldnotbe mounted
on a wallor ceiling,unless specifiedin the Operating
Instructions.
ElectricPower
1 Power sources ? Connectthisunitonlytopower sources
specifiedintheOperatingInstructions,and as marked on the
unit,
2 Polarization? As a safetyfeature,some unitsareequipped
withpolarizedAC powerplugswhichcan onlybe insertedone
way intoa power outlet.Ifitisdifficultorimpossibletoinsert
theAC power plugintoan outlet,turntheplugoverand try
again.Ifitstilldoes noteasilyinsertintotheoutlet,pleasecall
a qualifiedservicetechniciantoserviceorreplacetheoutlet.
To avoiddefeatingthesafetyfeatureofthepolarizedplug,do
notforceitintoa power outlet.
3 AC power cord
-When disconnectingthepower cord,pullitoutby theAC
power plug.Do notpullthecorditself.
-NeverhandletheAC powerplugwithwethands,asthiscould
resultinfireorshock.
- Powercordsshouldbe firmlysecuredtoavoidbeingseverely
bent,pinched,orwalked upon. Pay particularattentionto
thecordfromtheunittothepower socket.
-Avoidoverloadingpowersocketsand extensioncordsbeyond
theircapacity,as thiscouldresultinfireorshock,
4 Extensioncord? To helppreventelectricshock,do notuse
a polarizedAC powerplugwithan extensioncord,receptacle,
or otheroutletunlessthe polarizedplugcan be completely
insertedtopreventexposureofthebladesoftheplug.
5 When notinuse ? UnplugtheAC powercordfromthepower
socketiftheunitwillnotbe used forseveralmonths ormore.
When the cord isplugged in,a smallamount of current
continuestoflowtotheunit,even when thepower isturned
off.
