Use a microphone witha mini(D3.5mm/?/s inches)plug,
Before connecting a microphone
Set the MIC MIXING controltoMIN.
1Connect your microphone(s) to the MIC jack(s).
2Press one of the function buttons to selectthe
source to be mixed, and play it.
3Adjust the volume and tone ofthe source.
4Adjust the microphone volume.
You can adjustthevolume ofthemicrophones connected tothe
both ofthe MIC jacksby the MIC MIXING controlatthe same
time.
To record microphone sound mixed withsource sound
Inserta tape inthe deck 2, and press thel REC/RECMUTE
button.You can record while using the echoing effect,VOCAL
FADER, MULTIPLEXor BBE function.
When not using the microphone
Set the MIC MIXING and DIGITAL ECHOcontrolto MIN and
remove the microphone(s)from the MIC jack(s).

may be produced, Inthiscase, holdthe microphone away from
thespeakers,ordecrease thesound levelusingtheMIC MIXING
control,
lIfsoundthrough the microphone isextremely loud,itmay be

When connecting two microphones simultaneously
The use ofunidirectionaltype microphones (Aiwa DM-HI 8, DM-
H15, etc.)isrecommendedtopreventhowling.
ECHOING THE SOUND -+ q
You can getan echo sound whileusingthe microphone.
First,presstheMIC ECHO buttontodisplay?E-ON?. Then, adjust
the echo volume withthe DIGITAL ECHO control.
To cancelthe echoing effect
Press the MIC ECHObuttontwicetodisplay?E-OFF?.
lIftheMICECHOissetto OFF, the echoing effectcannot be
obtained,though the DIGITAL ECHO controlissetto MAX.
lIfyouselecttheDSPmode, the MIC ECHOwillbe setto OFF
automatically.
When the MIC ECHOissetto ON, the selectedDSP mode is
automaticallycanceled. |
