To record partof the CD
When thel buttonispressed,recordingalwaysstartsfromithe
firsttrack,To startinthemiddleofa track,playtheCD firstand
pressthe II buttonforCD atthepointtostartrecordingfrc}m,
Then,pressthel button.The pause mode forCD isreleased
automaticallyand recordingstarts.

To record from a CD, pressthe CD buttonand loadthe
disc(s).
To recordfrom a tape,presstheTAPE button.Then insert
theoriginaltapeintodeck 2 and playit.
To recordfrom a radiobroadcast,presstheTUNER/BAND
butterand tuneintoa station,
To recordfrom a connected source,presstheVIDEO/AUX
buttonand play.
3Press thel button to startrecording.
The IIFbuttonisdepressedsimultaneously.-
When theselectedfunctionisCD, playbackand recording
startsimultaneously.
To stop recording,presstheW=buttonon deck 1.
To pause recording,presstheIIbuttonon deck 1.To resume
recording,pressitagain.
To erase a recording
1 Insertthetapetobe erasedintodeck 1 and presstheTAPE
button.
2 Wind up thetape tothe pointwhere the erasureistc)be
started.
3 Pressthel buttontostarttheerasure.
