repeatedly.

2Press the 1+ DOWNor WUP button to select
a station.
Each timethebuttonispressed,thefrequencychanges.
When a stationisreceived,?TUNE isdisplayedfor2 seconds.
DuringFM stereoreception,{([~]))isdisplayed.
To search fora stationquickly(Auto Search)
Keep theMDOWN orEM UP buttonpresseduntilthetuner
startssearchingfora station.Aftertuningintoa station,the

BANDsearchstops.
To stoptheAutoSearchmanually,presstheMDOWN or~
UP button.
lThe Auto Search may not stopat stationswithveryweak
signals.
When an FM stereo broadcast contains noise
9Press the MONOTUNER buttonto display?MONO? on the
display.+q
Noiseisreduced,althoughreceptionismonaural.
To restorestereoreception,pressthe buttonso thatMONO
disappears.
To change the AM tuning interval
The defaultsettingoftheAM tuningintervalis10 kHz/step.If
youusethisunitinan areawherethefrequencyallocationsystem
is9 kHz/step,change thetuninginterval.
Press the POWERbuttonwhilepressingtheTUNER/BAND
button.
To resettheinterval,repeatthisprocedure.

When theAM tuningintervalischanged,allpresetstations(see
page 22)arecleared.The presetstationshavetobe setagain.
