Usable tapes
Use Type I(normal),TypeII(high/CrOz)orType IV (metal)tapes
forplayback.Preparation
lWindup the tape tothe pointrecordingstarts.
1 Press the TAPE button.
lNotethatrecordingisdoneon only one side ofthe tape.
lUseTypeI(normal)orTypeII(high/CrOz)tapesforrecording.
2 Press the W4buttontoopen thecassetteholder

To record from a CD
Press the CD buttonand load the disc(s).
To record from a radio broadcast
Press theTUNER/BANDbuttonand tune into a station.
To record from the connected source
Press the PHONOor VIDEO/AUXbuttonand play it.
3 Press the > button to startplayback.
Only the side facingyou can be played back.3Press thel button to startrecording.
The > buttonisdepressed simultaneously.
Tostop playback,presstheWAbutton.
Whenrecordina from a CD, playing and recording start
To pause,presstheIIbutton.simultaneously.
To resume play,press itagain.
To fastforward or rewind,pressthePEor -button in~

When both deck 1 and deck 2 are set in the playback
