1Power sources ? Connect thisunitonlyto power sources
specifiedinthe Operating Instructions,and as marked on
theunit.
2Polarization ? As a safety feature, some units are
equipped withpolarizedAC power plugswhich can onlybe
insertedone way intoa power outlet.Ifitisdifficultor
impossibleto inserlthe AC power plug intoan outlet,turn
the plugover and tryagain. Ifitstilldoes noteasilyinsert
intothe outlet,please calla qualifiedservicetechnicianto
serviceor replacethe outlet.To avoiddefeatingthe safety
featureof the polarizedplug,do not forceitintoa power
outlet.
3AC power cord
-When disconnectingthe AC power cord,pullitout by the
AC power plug.Do notpullthecord itself.
- Never handle the AC power plug withwet hands, as this
couldresultinfireorshock.
-Power cords should be firmlysecured to avoid being
severelybent,pinched,or walked upon. Pay particular
attentiontothecordfrom theunittothepower socket.
-Avoid overloadingAC power plugs and extensioncords
beyond theircapacity,as thiscouldresultinfireorshock.
4Extension cord ? To help preventelectricshock, do not
use a polarizedAC power plug with an extension cord,
receptacle,or otheroutletunlessthe polarizedplugcan be
completelyinsertedtopreventexposure ofthe bladesofthe
plug.
5When not in use ? Unplug theAC power cordfrom theAC
power plugifthe unitwillnotbe used forseveralmonths or
more. When the cord isplugged in,a small amount of
currentcontinuestoflowtotheunit,even when the power is
turnedoff. |
